DocInformation fields contain information about the properties of a document, such as the date a document was created. To view the properties of a document, choose .When you export and import an HTML document containing DocInformation fields, special $[officename] formats are used.Lists the available field types. To add a field to your document, click a field type, click a field in the Select list, and then click Insert.

Lists the available fields for the field type selected in the Type list. To insert a field, click the field, and then click Insert.For the "Created", "Modified", and "Last printed" field types, you can include the author, date, and time of the corresponding operation.Click the format that you want to apply to the selected field, or click "Additional formats" to define a custom format.
Fixed content
Inserts the field as static content, that is, the field cannot be updated.Fields with fixed content are only evaluated when you create a new document from a template that contains such a field. For example, a date field with fixed content inserts the date that a new document was created from the template.
