To view or edit the contents of a note, select the note and choose this command. A small yellow rectangle marks the position of a note in a document. To open the note for editing, double-click the rectangle. If your file contains more than one note, the Edit Note dialog contains previous and next arrows to move between the different notes. To set the printing options for notes in your document, choose File - Print, and then click Options. When you attach a note to cell, a callout appears where you can enter your text. A small red square marks the position of a note in a sheet. To display the note permanently, right-click the note, and choose Show Note. Help-Tips are always on in SO8 To edit a note, click in the cell that contains the note, and then choose Insert - Note. To specify the formatting of the note text, right-click the note. Contents Displays the properties of the selected note. Author Displays the initials of the person who created the note as well as the date that the note was created. Text Enter the text for your note. Author Enters your initials and the current date and time into the contents of the note.
